SIMPLY BRIDAL - WHO PAYS FOR WHAT?

Apparantley the average UK wedding costs £12,000.

The traditional form is for the brides parents to pay for most of it, but this is ever changing.

Wedding stationery, the brides and bridesmaids outfits, the flowers, the ceremony, reception,

photographer, transport, cake, food and drink were traditionally paid for by the brides

parents.

The rings, bouquets, buttonholes etc. church fees, gifts for attendants and honeymoon

are all down to the groom.

The Bride only has to pay for a gift for the groom and his wedding ring if he is going to wear one.
