Draw up a list and depending on who's paying depends on how many
consultations with other family members you need.
Common courtesy suggests the parents should be involved at this stage .
Parents tend to want to invite aged aunts while the bride and groom want friend,
work coleagues etc. There is no need to invite mystery guests with single friends and
its equally bad form for single friends to bring one along.
A sophisticated wedding generally does not include children under the age of 12.
However many people enjoy young joyful children running around.
If you have many children invited why not hire a nanny or childrens entertainer
and give them their own table.
Guests should not behave in any way that would embarass the bride and groom.
